The school started with only day-care program with only five children. Le Bambin de St Josephis the only day-care centre in Rusizi District Town. We especially welcome children from the following sectors: Kamembe, Gihundwe, Mururu and Ruharambuga from Nyamasheke District.

Beathe MUKAMUSONI is a woman who lives in Rusizi district, who had previously worked as a trainer for Catholic teachers in the teaching of religious studies and culture for 32 years in the former CYANGUGU Prefecture, after hearing that children are being abused by some of home maid they have been left by their parents, she retired from her previous job from 2000 to 2012, she started a day-care school.

School launched the school by July 2014 and started helping parents who were in need. Due to the fact that some parents are traders both in Kamembe town and its suburbs, and in the city of Bukavu/DRC bordering Rusizi District, and other employees who do not get enough time to stay with their children.

According to startistics, School launched cresh the school by July 2014, where some parents left kids for proper care. nursery section started by January of 2015, and we had 26 children; children increase every year which is the crucial element of the institution expansion. And now we have 261 children under our day-care.

The school has bought the land where they planed to build news school building suitable for the children. school starts with 25 child now there are 261. the future will be better.
